Donors' Update

Our own happy union

We are delighted to share with you the excellent news that The Capital Community Foundation (CCF) has merged with Thames Community Foundation (TCF). The merger was instigated to increase the impact of community foundations in London.

This merger makes complete sense for us both and is an important step in creating a strong Community Foundation for London. There is an excellent fit between us and by combining forces we hope to raise more money for London charities. At a time of great economic uncertainty, merger will help us to maximise charitable funds and deliver greatest benefit to frontline services in our communities.

The merged organisation will retain The Capital Community Foundation name at present and the existing CCF Board will be strengthened by the knowledge and skills of three Thames Community Foundation trustees who have joined upon merger.

The organisation will be led by Sonal Shah, current Executive Director of CCF and all contacts for CCF stakeholders are unchanged. Nigel Hay, CEO of TCF will remain with the merged organisation until the end of June to ensure a smooth transition of knowledge and relationships.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about this development.

We look forward to keeping you updated on our progress.
